While Mum was recovering from treatment, past captain John Ayris instigated a collection to send Mum away on holiday. At the lunch, she was presented with the collection, she used it to go to Las Vegas with the full Rock Star Quality service. Mum was deeply touched and amazed by this gesture, it really showed how much she meant to everyone at the club and how she was in everyone's thoughts while away.
